US-Pakistan relations: How the US is trying to fix things

The US has repeatedly blamed Pakistan for failing to address the challenges of terrorism, but its new military training program for Pakistan is designed to address those concerns.

The U.S. has been training Pakistan’s elite military in the past several years, a move that has alarmed the Pakistani military.

The new program, launched last week, will teach Pakistani military officers how to develop better strategies and tactics to deal with terrorism.

Pakistan’s military is already engaged in combat operations in the Kashmir region, including in the recent war against Indian forces, in which more than 70 people were killed and more than 200 injured.

The U,S.

is also training the Pakistani security forces, with some of the training being held in Pakistan’s border region with Afghanistan.

President Donald Trump has repeatedly called for an end to the fighting in the disputed region and has called for the withdrawal of U.s. troops from Afghanistan.

Pakistan has said it will continue to support Afghan forces against the Taliban.

But the U.K.-based New York-based International Institute for Strategic Studies said in a report last week that the U:  has been a reluctant partner in Afghanistan.

It said it was concerned that Pakistan has limited capabilities and has limited leverage to help the Afghan government defeat the Taliban, which it sees as a proxy for Tehran.

“Pakistan, in effect, does not have a major military presence in Afghanistan and its military is unlikely to have much impact in the country,” the report said.

In response to the IISS report, Pakistan’s foreign ministry released a statement saying that the country will continue its commitment to Afghanistan, which the country joined in 2001.

“Pakistan is committed to Afghanistan and all the issues relating to Afghanistan’s peace and stability, including the security of the Afghan people and its sovereignty,” the statement said.

But the IISs report also said that the Pakistani government needs to consider how it can contribute to Afghanistan peace talks in the future.
